Congo-B: Canada’s Zenith Energy wants to mobilize a drilling platform quickly

The Canadian junior Zenith Energy announced on Wednesday February 26 that it is in advanced negotiations to mobilize a drilling platform in the Republic of Congo, without however specifying the identity of the potential provider. On February 11, 2020, the company had indicated that it had identified two suitable drilling platforms located near its exploration licence. The management of Zenith Energy, which is finalizing the acquisition of an 80% stake in Anglo African Oil & Gas Congo (AAOG), which itself holds a 56% majority interest in the Tilapia oil field, has also indicated its intention to begin drilling operations by April 2020.
