Cameroon: the brewer SABC launches a new production line in Douala

The Cameroonian subsidiary of the Castel group officially launched today, in the presence of the Minister of Industry Dodo Ndocke, a new production line at the plant of the Société Anonyme des Brasseries du Cameroun (SABC) in Douala. With a production capacity of 45,000 bottles of 60 and 65 Cl per hour, this new unit, whose construction cost is estimated at 12 billion CFA francs, brings to 19 the number of production lines of the leader of the brewing market in Cameroon. Built in 6 months, it went into production in December 2019. This new investment is part of the three-year strategic investment plan of CFAF 65 billion, put in place by the company in 2017 to renew the facilities to make them « modern and more efficient ».
