Active in the Middle East and North Africa, where it operates in Egypt and Morocco, SDX Energy announced on Wednesday 8 April the discovery of a new onshore deposit of condensate and raw gas in the SD-12X well, located in its Egyptian concession of South Disouq. This announcement confirms the potential of this license, as the company launched its exploration program in February. Drilled to a depth of 7,245 feet (2,245 metres), the SD-12X well could contain, according to SDX’s initial estimates, up to 24 billion cubic feet of recoverable fuel.
