Nigeria: maintenance work on the Bonga oil field

The floating production, storage and offloading unit at the Bonga North West field, operated by Royal Dutch Shell through its Nigerian subsidiary SNEPCo, will undergo maintenance in March and April, it was learned today. While the exact dates and the impact on production have not yet been communicated, loading schedules indicate that for the month of March, approximately 153,000 barrels/day are expected to be exported from this perimeter. Bonga North West is located on Block OML 118 in deep offshore. It is 55% controlled by Shell, which operates it alongside Exxon Mobil (20%), Total (12.5%), and Eni (12.5%).
